KVIT 1’s prehistory
Quality and documentation of quality have always been important.
In the mid-1980s there was a quality development in the Danish healthcare system.
This meant the development of DGMA, the good medical department, NIP the national indicator project and DICOM, Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine.
At the end of 1998, executive order 975 on medical X-ray facilities was issued.
In March 1999, Sundheds Fagligt Råd was established in H:S.
Almost at the same time, the accreditation spread over H:S.
Both Executive Order 975 and SFS’s preparation and implementation of a distinguished quality handbook fit well into the quality assurance of H:S’s radiology departments.
The overarching theme in quality assurance and accreditation is documentation.
Everything must be documented and be able to be found again.
Documentation is for the good and in everyone’s interest.
KVIT 1 is a natural consequence of the quality development
